Panel Discussion on Human Trafficking

Panelists include:

 

Carrie Grace has been serving victims of human trafficking since 2011. She has specialized in the area of trauma recovery and post trauma resiliency. She has developed programs and curriculums which are used in prevention, education and restoration services around the world.

 

 

 

Sarolyn Morgan is a LCSW-S (Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor with a BCD (Board-Certified Diplomat). She has been the Victim Assistance Specialist (VAS) for Homeland Security Investigations Immigration and Customs Enforcements (HSI-ICE) since October 2016. She has provided outreach and education to over 225 organizations exceeding 75,000 persons trained in Human Trafficking.

 

 

Candace Rich is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, owner of Healthcare Today, co-founder and Director of Operations at Reclaim611. When Candace was introduced to human trafficking and how healthcare and school systems disproportionally come in contact with these victims, she looked back at her own experiences and was overwhelmed by how much she had missed the red flags of many potential victims.

 

 

Carrie Schirato – In 2017, I co-founded an anti-human trafficking non-profit organization called Reclaim611, with two of my long-time friends and colleagues. As medical professionals we are passionate about helping our own profession learn how to recognize, respond, report and reclaim the lives of victims of human trafficking.

 

 

 

Carrie Wright is the Director of MDT Service at Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center. In this role, she supervises the coordination of child sex trafficking cases and high-risk youth identified within the MDT in Dallas County.
