ACHE of North Texas Programs & Promotions

Call for 2020 ACHENTX Board Nominations

We are pleased to announce we are now accepting nomination applications for available seats on the 2020 ACHE of North Texas Board of Directors.  All members of ACHE of North Texas in good standing may nominate themselves or others for consideration by the chapter Nominating Committee.  Nominations should be submitted with the candidate’s resume and photo by the deadline of Friday, August 23, 2019 to info@achentx.org.

The Nominating Committee is chartered with ensuring our Board is broadly representative of our membership.  As such, the Committee is focused on maintaining cultural diversity as well as targeting healthcare executives from all segments of the industry (i.e., payer, pre and post-acute care, consulting, physicians, information technology, architectural design, etc.) as well as engaging the valuable participation of our Life Fellows and Retired members.  Additionally, as we evaluate our strategic goals for 2020 and match those with Board competencies, we will also be targeting applicants with interests in serving as liaisons to our various committees.

The Nominations Committee will meet soon after the submission deadline and will then present their nominations to the Board.  The Board will then finalize their recommendations with a ballot to be presented at the General Membership Convocation on November 5, 2019.

Should you have any questions about this process, please contact our executive director, John Whittemore at info@achentx.org.

Thank you for your support of our great chapter!

By way of explanation, should one program not be able to field a team under Rules 1 and 2, Program Directors may endorse a combined application; the combined application will identify the students, whether or not each student is a Rule 1 or 2 student; the Program Directors will affirm the Directors’ belief that the team will be able to address team logistics issues, so that the Team’s submission will be competitive.

To sign up, the team must be comprised of four (4) to five (5) members at the time of registration.  Up to two teams per school is permitted, offered to the first two teams to complete and submit their applications.  Avenues to find other team members will be provided through the Student Council Sponsor/Program Director as needed.
