Speaker Bios:

 

 

Dr. Anna Lim is a Group Medical Officer for the Hospital Medicine Division at SCP Health.  Her Primary responsibilities include striving for and maintaining clinical quality excellence in hospital service lines through data-driving insights into proven models of care in order to ensure scalable solutions across the continuum of care.

 

Boren and raised in the Midwest, Dr. Lim completed a medical degree through St. George’s University and internal medicine residency training at Mercy Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.  An MBA with Healthcare Quality Certification was achieved through George Washington University in Washington, DC.

 

Passionate about quality care, innovation, and technology-driven solutions, Dr. Lim’s focus is to facilitate implementation of the quadruple aim (better patient outcomes, responsible costs, improved patient experience, with high provider satisfaction) for actionable strategies with prescriptive solutions.

 

 

Dr. Octavio J. Diaz is Chief Medical Officer of Steward Health Care System. In his role, Dr. Diaz is responsible for physician performance, quality outcomes, regulatory oversight, risk management and patient safety at all Steward facilities. Board certified in emergency medicine, Dr. Diaz received his undergraduate degree in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and earned his MD degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and received a Master of Public Health degree from Boston University School of Public Health.

 

 

 

Dr. Gregory Johnson serves as Chief Executive Officer for Sound Physicians’ hospital medicine service line. His areas of focus include clinical performance excellence, leadership development, clinical innovation and specialty integration. Several of his programs have received system and national awards for outstanding clinical performance. Dr. Johnson also serves as Chief Diversity Officer for Sound Physicians. His mandate is to enhance the organization’s approach to mitigating bias throughout the practice; to measurably improve organizational inclusivity; and to utilize Sound’s national scale to impact healthcare disparities.

Dr. Johnson is a graduate of Dartmouth College; the McGovern School of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston; and he completed his residency training in both internal medicine and family practice at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, where he also served as a chief resident. He also received his certification in diversity, equity and inclusion from Northwestern University. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Physicians, and a Senior Fellow in the Society of Hospital Medicine. Finally, he maintains a clinical faculty role at his medical school alma mater.

 

 

Brad Tate, M.D., serves as Chief Medical Officer for Children’s Medical Center Plano. Dr. Tate is responsible for strengthening clinical operations at the Plano campus.

Dr. Tate is a highly acclaimed pediatric physician with expertise in pulmonology and critical care.

Dr. Tate graduated from Texas A&M University where he received a Bachelor of Science in biomedical science. He attended University of Texas Medical School at Houston where he received his Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Tate also earned his healthcare management executive Master of Business Administration from University of Texas at Dallas.
