Mission & Purpose

The American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Committee strives to embed inclusivity in healthcare excellence and professional growth. Creating and sustaining an organization-wide culture that understands diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential to ACHE’s mission and continued excellence. The D&I Committee promotes diversity because, as noted in the ACHE Statement of Diversity, “diverse participation can serve as a catalyst for improved decision making, increased productivity, and a competitive advantage.” ACHENTX D&I’s Committee is focused on propelling innovation by bringing together different perspectives, experiences, and ideas to the organization. Through strategic partnerships and stewardship, the D&I Committee is designed to promote intercultural dialogue in ACHE where all members, at all levels, can fully realize their potential.
