Committee Responsibilities

The Advancement Committee Member provides support to the committee chair in identifying members who are eligible to advance to Fellow, coordinating educational activities, identify educational resources, and evaluate member satisfaction to achieve annual advancement goals.

Committee Member Responsibilities:

  • Promotion of the Fellow Credential to eligible healthcare executives.
  • Recognize individuals who have achieved Fellow status in the Quarterly Newsletter and local website
  • Serve as a reference for eligible Fellow candidates
  • Coordinate annual programs to prepare members for the Board of Governors Exam
    • Face-to-face seminar
    • 10 Week Webinar
  • Determine creative marketing initiatives that encourage eligible candidates to complete the application and take the BOG exam
  • Work with ACHE National for resources and guidance to achieve established national goals
  • Provide quarterly committee updates (promotions, articles, recognition, etc.) to the newsletter editor

Meeting Requirements:

  • Attend quarterly committee meetings
  • Assist with the webinar as needed

Support:

  • Committee members are primarily supported by the Chair, Board Liaison and fellow committee members
  • Additional guidance and resources will be provided through the Chapter Shared Drive

Qualifications:

  • Familiar with ACHE Fellow requirements, databases, and resources
  • Member in good standing with the chapter
