Not only do they provide care for a diverse community of patients and families\, but their workforce is also growing more diverse. It is incumbent on healthcare organizations and their leaders to both understand and embrace the needs of diverse populations. Their ability to respond to the needs and preferences of a broader customer base will be critical to their financial and operational survival\, but they first must understand what their implicit biases are to do that. The goal of the session is for leaders to understand and recognize internal biases both conscious and unconscious. This new program will focus on the healthcare leader’s personal recognition of internal bias and its impact on decisions in the organization. Companies and executives have chosen to partner with JENGA Capital Funds because of the deep industry experience\, strong network of business relationships\, and track record of success. JENGA Capital Funds seeks investments where the bulk of the value creation opportunity is derived from the growth of a scalable business model. Reggie leads the firm’s overall strategy\, developing targeted investment themes\, supervising and closing the transaction.  \nReggie began his career at GE Capital in the Financial Management Program where he held various Finance roles within multiple GE businesses (GE Assurance\, GE Mortgage Insurance\, GE Corporate Technology and GE Real Estate). His healthcare career started at GE Healthcare in the Commercial Leadership Program. While at GE Healthcare\, he held roles that included leading product and regional commercial teams. Reggie was GE Healthcare’s first Deal Architect on the Commercial Operations team focusing on deal pursuits of $10M- $100M in size. Prior to his leaving GE Healthcare\, Reggie served as the Region Vice President and General Manager for Texas\, Kansas\, and Oklahoma where he led all GE Healthcare segments: Diagnostic Imaging\, Ultrasound\, Life Care Solutions\, Health Information Technology\, Life Sciences and Service businesses. The scope of his responsibilities included leading the sales and service organization by building a culture of collaboration and growing the portfolio to $400M in sales revenue.  \nReggie transitioned into biotechnology to build a commercial team within Biogen leading the West Division for the Alzheimer’s Account Liaison Team. He led a layered organization with responsibilities for aligning and driving the commercial strategy and execution for Biogen’s Alzheimer’s Business Unit. He partnered with cross-functional leaders (e.g.\, Marketing\, Sales\, Reimbursement\, Patient Services and Medical) to deploy solutions that drive business opportunities while ensuring team alignment in the overall execution of strategy.  \nReggie is from Plano\, TX and attended Langston University where he obtained Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Business Management and is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity\, Inc.  \n\n\n\n\nKatie Bata Heeter is Vice President of Strategic Business Services at Baylor Scott & White Health\, the largest not-for-profit health system in Texas. The integrated delivery network includes 49\,000 employees\, 52 hospitals\, 7\,500 affiliated physicians\, more than 1\,100 access points\, Baylor Scott & White Research Institute and one of the nation’s largest accountable care organizations\, Baylor Scott & White Quality Alliance. \nIn her role\, Bata Heeter oversees implementation of HR programs that support leaders in advancing the mission of Baylor Scott & White Health. \nPrior to her current role\, Bata Heeter served in multiple human resources leadership roles including vice president and regional executive director at Advocate Aurora Health and its predecessor\, Advocate Health Care. She also previously served as vice president and chief human resource director at Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital. \nBata Heeter received her bachelor’s degree in business from Eastern Illinois University and a master’s degree in business management from Northern Illinois University. \nDresdene Flynn-White is no stranger to success as both a business owner and a strategic business partner in the corporate world. First as an administrator in higher education\, then on to a fifteen-year healthcare career with Kaiser Permanente. Leaving a lucrative career in corporate human resources and consulting\, she started on her five-year entrepreneurial journey as an executive and business coach\, advising and supporting small business owners. Q2 2022 Page 6 advising and supporting small business owners. Dresdene returned to corporate human resources as Vice President for Human Resources at JPS in 2010. She assumed the role of the network’s first Diversity Officer in January 2012. In this capacity she was responsible for the execution of the Hospital District’s Diversity strategies relating to the provision of culturally competent care for patients\, the education and retention of a diverse workforce and an expansion of engagement with M/WBE and HUB VENDORS. From 2018-2021 Dresdene served as Senior Director for Diversity Initiatives for North Texas Leaders and Executives Advocating Diversity (LEAD) an organization built partnerships with the region’s most influential employers and helped connect them with talented\, experienced professionals seeking new career opportunities in organizations that value diversity and inclusion. Having retired the third time\, Dresdene has returned to healthcare consulting by establishing a boutique consulting practice (Acquired Leadership Solutions) focused on diversity and strategic leadership development including executive coaching and training. Dresdene is a unique health care professional\, having experienced both corporate operational and business ownership roles. She is a credentialed manager responsible for establishing\, consolidating\, and realigning critical business areas to enable the initiation of new systems\, definition of new business processes and responses to litigation and regulatory compliance issues. Dresdene serves on several community boards including the Fort Worth Metropolitan YMCA\, Health Babies\, Healthy Moms\, Healthy Communities (H3); is past president of the North Texas Chapter of American College of Healthcare Executives\, and former Co-Chair of the Tarrant County Cancer Disparities Coalition. She is a current member of the board of Baylor Scott and White All Saints. \nDr. DeLancey Johnson is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SHRM-SCP\, SPHR\, sHRBP)\, and is an active member of American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) of North Texas. He holds a BA from Edward Waters College\, an MBA from Syracuse University and a Doctorate in Business Management from Northcentral University in Scottsdale\, Arizona. He serves as the 2022 Certification Director on the Board of Directors for the Mid-Cities Human Resource Association (MCHRA). He has over 20 years of HR experience working internationally\, domestically in public and private sectors for-profit and non-profit organizations. Currently\, Dr. Johnson is the Senior Vice President\, Office of Talent Management at Parkland Hospital System in Dallas\, Texas. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMerridth D. Simpson is the Director of Human Resources for Methodist Charlton Medical Center\, part of the nonprofit Methodist Health System which employs nearly 10\,000 staff throughout the Metroplex. Merridth oversees all aspects of Human Resources including policies and programs covering employment\, compensation\, benefits\, performance management\, employee relations\, leadership development\, recruiting and retention\, and compliance with all applicable federal\, state and local laws. Merridth serves on the Methodist Health System Intentional Inclusion & Diversity (II&D) Council and represents the organization on the Best Southwest Workforce Development committee. Previously Merridth served as the Diversity and Inclusion Manager at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas where she led the strategic development and implementation of the Institution’s diversity and inclusion strategy\, impacting 15\,000 faculty and staff. Merridth ensured that diversity\, equity and inclusion were essential components of the Institution’s core missions of research\, education and patient care\, and implemented the Institution’s first Business Resource Groups (BRGs). Prior to joining UT Southwestern\, Merridth held leadership roles at Raytheon\, an aerospace and defense contractor\, in their Intelligence and Information Systems (IIS) business segment. She held positions spanning communications\, human resources\, and diversity. While at Raytheon Merridth handled workforce planning of nearly 3\,000 scientists and technical professionals\, and streamlined the business’ performance and development processes. She spearheaded community outreach efforts in Science\, Technology\, Engineering and Math (STEM)\, grew the maturity of nine Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)\, and steered multiple diversity councils. Merridth is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management\, Society for Diversity\, Executive Women in Texas Government\, and National Association of Health Services Executives. She serves on the Greater Dallas Advisory Board of the Texas Diversity Council\, and previously served on the Board of Management for the Lakewest YMCA of Dallas. Merridth is a Certified Human Resources Management Professional (SHRM-CP)\, Certified Diversity Professional (CDP)\, Six Sigma Green Belt\, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Relations and Business. Merridth resides in Midlothian\, TX with her husband of 28 years and they have three grown children. \nPanel 2 Speakers’ Bios: \nDr. Jim Allard is Vice President Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer at Medical City Children’s Hospital and Medical City Women’s Hospital – Dallas. His tenure has span 24 years in nursing. Jim’s interests include civility\, diversity\, equity and inclusion\, shared governance\, evidence-based practice\, MAGNET and Just Culture principles. Jim earned a Doctorate of Nurse Practice at Texas Christian University. He holds a certification from ANCC as a Nurse Executive Advanced and is a member of ANA\, TNA\, AONL\, TONL and ACHE. Jim gives back to the community through TNA\, TONE and ACHE Committee work. His personal leadership vision is “To develop the leader in every nurse.” \nWith nearly 25 years of health care experience\, Tina Bowers’ leadership career has been distinguished by a proven track record of comprehensive strategies and programs that generate effective leaders\, improve culture\, and promote inclusion and equity. Tina is currently responsible for developing and advancing the diversity and inclusion strategy at Children’s Health\, one of the largest pediatric health systems in Texas. As a trusted advisor and collaborator of the organization’s CEO and operational leaders\, she works to shape and sustain an inclusive workplace where employees and patients feel welcome\, valued and respected – and importantly\, where the workforce and policies reflect the patients\, families and communities served. Many of her achievements represent groundbreaking\, first-of-their-kind initiatives in the institution’s 108-year history\, including its first-ever comprehensive Diversity & Inclusion strategy\, cultural climate audit\, annual D&I Impact Report\, and the first-of-its kind Registered Apprenticeship model for Patient Care Technicians in the State of Texas. Prior to joining Children’s\, Tina served in HR leadership roles at for-profit and not-for-profit health systems including Methodist Health System and Tenet Health. In addition to experience in Diversity\, Equity\, and Inclusion\, she also has deep expertise and broad experience in numerous HR functional areas\, including Talent Acquisition and Management\, Organizational Development\, Coaching\, Learning/Training\, and Leadership Development. Recently named one of the Top 100 Diversity Officers in the U.S. by the National Diversity Council and in 2019\, nominated for the Outstanding D&I Professional award as part of the Dynamic Women of Color Champions of Change. Tina frequently serves as a host\, speaker\, panelist\, and facilitator for high-profile D&I forums throughout North Texas and she is certified in Diversity Management in Healthcare\, MBTI\, Crucial Conversations\, Emotional Intelligence\, DDI and Crucial Accountability. Tina received her undergraduate degree from Chicago State University and holds an MBA from Southern Methodist University. \nFelicia Miller\, MBA\, SPHR\, SHRM-SCP\, CHHR\, is the EVP & CTO at Parkland Health & Hospital System. Felicia has more than 30 years of leadership experience in healthcare HR across both non-profit and for profit health systems\, including more than 22 hospitals and approximately 18\,000 employees. Prior to joining Parkland she served as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for Tenet Healthcare Corporation’s Texas region. She is also an active community member\, involved in multiple business organizations and the recipient of numerous professional accolades. \nDr. Tamala Norris joined Tenet Healthcare and United Surgical Partners International in 2016 and serves as the Vice President of Clinical Operations and Group Chief Nursing Officer with oversight for USPI’s nursing operations\, clinical practices\, quality\, and safety. She serves as an Editorial Board Member for the International Journal of Nursing Sciences and Clinical Practices\, and as a board member for the Ambulatory Surgery Center Quality Collaborative. DESCRIPTION:This virtual panel has been approved for 1.5 ACHE Face-to-Face Credits\n\n\n\n\n\nDeveloping new delivery models that embrace alternative payment models goes beyond simply supplying patients with information at time of checkout or discharge. It includes a commitment to patient-centered care\, providing clear and useful information to patients\, helping patients establish goals and plans to live a healthier life\, creating a team of clinicians and administrative staff with clearly understood roles and responsibilities\, and using office systems to support followup and tracking of patients. Managing programs aimed at chronic illness and changing behavior are challenging and take time for everyone involved—providers\, patients\, and caregivers. Yet\, it is often patients themselves who are called on to manage the broad range of factors that contribute to their health. Common sense suggests—and health care experts agree—that people with chronic care needs should receive support to help them manage their health as effectively as possible. Helping patients to make good choices and maintain healthy behaviors requires a collaborative relationship between health system leaders\, community-based programs\, clinical teams and patients. She has been actively engaged in health care for over twenty years. She has proven experience in Network Innovation\, Managed Care Contracting\, Value Based Contracting\, Provider Relations and Client/Account Management. Melissa has led successful Enterprise-wide teams through complex implementations of network builds\, creations of Value Based Care programs and large client implementations. Melissa’s strategic business sense\, as well as her sincerity and compassion\, has resulted in the creation of strong meaningful relationships throughout the national health care community. Melissa is originally from Pt. Pleasant\, NJ where she began her career at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of NJ. Melissa also served as the Sr. Director of Employer Solutions\, National Network Strategy and Innovation for UnitedHealthcare. Melissa received her B.S. in Business Management from Dowling College/Long Island University\, NY and her Master in Health Administration degree at the University of Texas at Tyler. She currently resides in Frisco\, TX with her husband and their two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. \n  \n  \nRichard Doane is a Director at Premier working as a part of the Strategic Collaboratives team. In this role\, Richard has developed subject matter expertise related to all aspects of Medicare ACOs and other network-level total cost of care models (Next Generations ACO\, Direct Contracting) including advocacy\, development\, operations\, regulatory compliance\, and performance improvement. He has led numerous strategy sessions\, executive / board presentations\, and detailed capabilities assessment to best position member ACOs for success in value-based care and payment. \nPrior to joining the population health team Richard spent three years within the cost management division of Premier’s Performance Partners. There he managed many projects\, from small labor benchmarking engagements to large operational transformation projects. He also served as a labor subject matter specialist for several projects. During this time\, he also developed best practice methodologies and tools for completing labor centric projects. \nRichard received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University with a minor in Business Administration. He also received a Master of Health Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina. Richard is a certified black belt in Lean/Six Sigma. He also received an individual Premier Values Award in 2014 and a Premier Team Values Award in 2014\, 2016\, 2017\, 2019\, and 2021. \n  \n  \nRoger N. Fowler\, MD\, is the Vice-President\, Chief Medical Director of Quality\, Performance and Innovation at CHRISTUS Health. \nRoger began solo Family Medicine Practice in Kilgore\, Texas\, from October 1981 until November 1996. He provided full spectrum Family Medicine care\, including ambulatory\, inpatient\, emergency department\, obstetrics including deliveries and c-sections\, minor surgery\, nursing homes\, and home visits. In 1996\, he joined the newly formed Trinity Clinic\, an employed physician group that had incorporated 1 year earlier and was part of the integrated Trinity Mother Frances Health System. \nIn November 2005\, he moved his practice to Lindale\, Texas\, to open a new concept “health park” for TMF and the Trinity Clinic\, practicing only ambulatory care in Family Medicine as well as Urgent Care. He ceased with direct patient care January 31\, 2017\, as he assumed a full-time administrative role with CHRISTUS Health. \nWhile with the Trinity Clinic\, he served many governance and clinical leadership roles including Trinity Clinic Board member for 9 years\, serving the last 5 years as Chairman. He served on various committees including Finance\, Customer Service and Quality. He provided medical leadership for the PCMH recognition for all of primary care in 2011. The Clinic achieved Level III PCMH recognition for all 120 primary care providers. \nHe served as Chief of Primary Care for 2 years from 2012-2014\, until assuming full responsibility for Population Health for the Trinity Clinic. \nHe envisioned\, launched and provided leadership for the department of Population Health for the Trinity Clinic in January 2015 until joining CHRISTUS Health in February 2017 as Chief Medical Director of Population Health and Health Plans\, CMO for the CHRISTUS Health Quality Care Alliance (ACO) and CHRISTUS Quality Network (CIN). \nBeginning in November of 2019\, Roger also became involved with the CHRISTUS Health Plan (CHP) and assumed leadership for the Pharmacy and Quality Improvement departments for the CHP. Subsequently\, his role expanded in May of 2021 when the Medical Management Department also came under his leadership. \nRoger is married to Patty Fowler for 34 years. Patty is now a “crafter” after a career as a Physical Therapist Assistant. We have a blended family of 3 boys and 1 girl with 3 grandchildren. We love spending time with family. For recreation\, Roger spends time in pursuit of fitness\, especially running for the past 43 years\, and golf. \nWe have been Blessed and acknowledge our Christian beliefs. We worship in the Episcopal Church at Church of the Apostles in Coppell\, Texas. \n  \nWilliam Scott Hurst\, MBA\, FACHE is currently the President & CEO of Patient Physician Network (PPN)\, one of the largest IPA’s in North Texas with over 600 physician members. In this role\, he works with teams of dedicated physicians\, staff and caregivers to advance independent medicine by driving clinical integration\, value-based care initiatives\, patient experience improvement and cost reductions in the provision of care. To date\, these efforts have returned over $4 million in savings to its members in just seven years. \nScott is an accomplished leader with over 20+ years of experience in Physician Alignment\, Contracting\, Quality & Performance Improvement\, Hospital & Clinical Operations\, Provider Recruitment\, Patient Experience and Value-Based Care Operations for several well-known systems in the DFW metroplex. \nPrevious to being recruited to PPN\, Scott served as an Executive Director overseeing operations in Texas and Louisiana for naviHealth\, an industry leader in value-based care operations for health systems and health plans servicing Medicare patients. \nOver his career\, Scott has been blessed to serve as a Project Leader at Methodist Health System; the Senior Director of Physician Networks at Children’s Health in Dallas; a Director of Physician Alignment at CHRISTUS Spohn Health System in Corpus Christi\, TX and as a consultant for over 10 years to hospitals in the Midwest\, Pacific Northwest and Alaska. Prior to that\, Ms. Dorsey also served as Conifer’s Senior Director of Talent Acquisition and Tenet Healthcare Recruitment Manager. \n  \nAdditionally\, Stacy has recruitment\, training and system analyst experience with Texas Health Resources\, Ardent Health Services\, Inc.\, Cook Children’s Healthcare System and Modis Professional Services. \nMs. Dorsey has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies from Iowa State University. \n  \nIrina Plumlee’s immigration practice focuses on business and family immigration. \nShe represents her clients in a variety of immigration matters\, including the following: international executive and managerial personnel transfers; E proceedings for international entrepreneurs; H-1B\, TN and L-1 petition proceedings for foreign executives and managers\, IT specialists\, doctors and professional workers in major industries; and employment and family-based permanent immigration proceedings. She also has experience representing clients in matters concerning employers’ I-9 compliance and fairness in employment practices. \nIrina previously served as a member of Munsch Hardt’s Management Committee. \n  \n\nAs Chief of Staff\, Courtney Rottman\, J.D.\, M.P.S.A.\, is a key member of the President’s executive team\, working closely with the President\, the executives who report to the President\, and the President’s Office staff to monitor\, facilitate\, and support the execution of the President’s goals and priorities for UT Southwestern Medical Center. She serves as a key adviser to the President; as a consultant to senior leaders\, faculty\, and staff on a wide range of issues; and as the President’s personal representative on various Medical Center task forces and groups. Ms. Rottman also is responsible for the Policy Office\, which reviews and updates UT Southwestern campus-wide policies and makes them accessible through a centralized electronic Policy Library. \nMs. Rottman joined UT Southwestern in September 2020 from ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital\, where she was Senior Director\, Enterprise Operations and the Chief of Staff for the Chief Operations Officer. She served as an Enterprise Operations team adviser\, representative\, and liaison on behalf of the COO in multiyear strategic plan development and large-scale business operations improvement and transformation efforts. Ms. Rottman worked across the organization to build relationships\, lead enterprise projects\, generate and steward operations innovation efforts\, help define and execute enterprise goals\, and lead risk mitigation and revenue efforts. Previously\, she served as the Chief of Staff to the Chief Development Officer of ALSAC. \nPrior to joining ALSAC in 2015\, Ms. Rottman served in leadership roles at global social innovators such as Susan G. Komen for the Cure\, Travelocity.com\, and Baylor Scott & White Health. Through these opportunities\, she gained extensive experience building and transforming private and public sector organizations in areas such as fundraising operations\, global strategic sourcing\, business development\, program and performance analysis\, integrated marketing\, and contract and grant management. A skilled negotiator\, Ms. Rottman has led a variety of complex agreements\, including the strategic sourcing division of the largest online travel agency in North America during a corporate merger. \nMs. Rottman is a dedicated professional committed to working for organizations that enrich the lives of others. She holds a Juris Doctorate from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law\, a Master of Public Service and Administration from The Bush School of Government and Public Service\, and bachelor degrees in International Studies and History from Texas A&M University. She is pursuing her doctorate in business administration at the International School of Management in Paris\, France. Her research focus areas include global strategic planning\, the workforce of the future\, innovation management\, and the role of artificial intelligence in the nonprofit sector to increase operating and fundraising capacity and efficiencies. \n  \nJacob Simon serves as Chief Operating Officer for The Medicus Firm\, one of the nation’s largest healthcare recruitment firms. Prior to this role\, Jacob served The Medicus Firm in a variety of other roles for the past 8 years\, most recently as Executive Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Simon’s passion is uniting individuals and teams towards a common goal. Homan\, DrPH\, MA\, MSHCE is the regional director of ethics for Providence St Joseph Health serving the Providence and Swedish ministries in the Puget Sound and Western Washington region. Homan was recently appointed to a three-year term as an ethicist for the Washington State Disaster Medical Advisory Committee. \nDr. Homan maintains an adjunct assistant professor position in the Center for Bioethics and Medical Humanities\, Institute for Health & Equity\, at the Medical College of Wisconsin (Milwaukee). She is currently the principal investigator on HRSA R40 MCH award (1-year\, $100\,000) “Exploratory Analysis of the Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System to Identify Modifiable Factors Related to Adverse Pregnancy and Birth Outcomes.” \nPreviously\, as full-time MCW faculty\, Homan was co-investigator on the $5mil REDIRECT project funded by the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin endowment. She was also co-investigator on the Childhood After Heart-Lung Failure: The Risk Environment and Impact of Mechanical Circulatory Support on Functional Outcomes funded by the Herma Heart Institute and the Children’s Research Institute. She was appointed co-chair of the ethics advisory committee and provided clinical ethics consultation for Children’s Wisconsin as well as facilitated bi-monthly Schwartz Rounds®. \nDr. Homan has held an adjunct faculty appointment in the Department of Health Behavior and Health Systems at the School of Public Health\, University of North Texas Health Science Center teaching the required course ethical issues in public health since 2015. \nDr. Homan co-founded and is the immediate past president of the Bioethics Network of the Upper Midwest (BENUM). She serves on the City of Milwaukee Health Department’s fetal and infant mortality review and previously served as a reviewer and advisor for the Central Oklahoma Fetal Infant Mortality Review. Mary previously held the role of chair for the maternal and child health section for the Oklahoma Public Health Association and was a gubernatorial appointment to the Oklahoma Health Research Committee\, Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science & Technology. \nPreviously Dr. Homan held health care ethics leadership roles at Mercy (Oklahoma) and SCL Health (Kansas). \nDr. Homan earned degrees at Saint Louis University (BA\, theological studies\, 2004)\, Aquinas Institute of Theology (MA\, systematic theology\, 2006)\, Creighton University (MS\, health care ethics\, 2013) and the University of Oklahoma (DrPH\, health administration and policy\, 2017). Her dissertation research on ethics consultation and adverse patient outcomes won the 2017 Mercy Innovation Award in Service Excellence. \n  \nDi Ann Sanchez\, Ph.D.\, SPHR\, SHRM – SCP\, is the Founder/President of DAS HR Consulting LLC\, a WMBE/HUB-certified firm focused on creative and non-traditional Human Resources programs and services. The primary mission is to promote patient safety\, quality healthcare and coordination in the delivery of healthcare within the North Texas market. Jared’s role is responsible for leading strategic efforts to identify cost-saving and additional revenue opportunities for Parkland. Also\, Jared is actively involved in Parkland’s fight against the Covid pandemic. Jared helped lead the activation of one of the first testing drive-thrus in the country in March of 2020\, with the ability to test hundreds of people per day. Also\, he managed two mega vaccine sites with the capacity to vaccinate thousands of people per day in early 2021. \nBefore joining Parkland\, Jared served in various consulting and operations roles. He has worked as an executive in progressive leadership roles within Texas Health Resources since 2010\, first at Texas Health Southwest Fort Worth and then Texas Health Plano\, before moving to THHEB. \nIn his current role\, Fraser oversees the daily operations\, strategic planning\, business development\, continuous improvement\, and hospital culture for the more than 1\,300 employees\, 200 volunteers\, and 800 active staff physicians and allied health professionals. \nThroughout his career\, Fraser has overseen more than $125 million in construction projects and has been known for his collaborative leadership style that focuses on building partnerships with physicians and hospital staff to collectively enhance the care provided. \nFraser received his BBA in Finance from the University of Oklahoma and then his Masters in Health Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio. Shetty\, MD\, MBA is the President of Steward Health Care System (North America). Steward is the largest privately held\, physician-owned\, and physician-led health system in the country\, with a focus on providing high quality\, high value care through its integrated healthcare delivery model. Shetty succeeded founder Dr. Ralph de la Torre to take executive leadership of domestic operations in March 2021\, including 35 acute care facilities\, a large multispecialty medical group\, and an integrated accountable care organization\, as well as numerous other healthcare entities comprising Steward’s innovative community care model. Shetty has served in leadership roles across each of Steward’s core business lines\, including as President of Steward Medical Group\, an 1\,800-provider multispecialty practice with providers in 11 states and as President of Steward’s ACO\, Steward Health Care Network\, where he was responsible for Steward’s quality and financial performance under alternative payment models. Most recently\, he served as President of the South Region (TX/LA/AR/FL)\, providing leadership over 12 acute care facilities with a focus on strategic growth and operations. Through these previous leadership roles\, he was instrumental in expanding Steward’s participation in value-based reimbursement models\, doubling of the size of the medical group through nationwide expansion and acquisition\, and engineering a turnaround of multiple acute care facilities that had been struggling prior to acquisition. \nA practicing radiologist\, Dr. Shetty has been actively involved in the state and national level activities of the American College of Radiology\, including as Past President of the Massachusetts Radiological Society and a past member of the ACR national Council Steering Committee. Other roles have included service as Chair of the national Resident and Fellows Section\, a member of the RADPAC Board\, and a course director for the Leadership Accelerator course at the RLI\, in additional to work on numerous national committees in economics\, government relations\, and membership. \nHe is an Associate Clinical Professor of Radiology at Tufts University School of Medicine and has authored numerous articles\, reviews\, editorials\, and book chapters\, in addition to co-authoring a review book in neuroradiology. Prior to joining Steward\, he was a consultant at Bain & Company. He is a graduate of Harvard College (A.B. summa cum laude)\, Harvard Medical School (MD)\, and the Wharton School (MBA)\, and he was a resident\, chief resident\, and fellow in Radiology at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He was recognized by the Boston Business Journal as one of “Boston’s 40 Under 40” in 2012 and by Becker’s Hospital Review in its listing of “Rising Stars: 25 Healthcare Leaders Under 40” in 2013. \nDr. Shetty has had numerous volunteer roles as well. He serves as a Trustee at Phillips Exeter Academy\, his alma mater\, where he also serves as Class President and Class Agent. He currently serves as chairman of the Government Affairs Committee of Premier Inc. He graduated from Internal Medicine residency training in 2003\, at which time he became involved with the clinical ethics consultation service at Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC)\, and has provided numerous clinical ethics consultations since then. In 2004\, he and a team established the BUMC Palliative Care Consultation Service. Now known as the Supportive and Palliative Care Service\, the team was recognized for excellence by the American Hospital Association with a Circle of Life Citation of Honor in 2007. In 2011 Dr. Casanova took over responsibility as the Chairman of the Supportive and Palliative Care and the Institutional Ethics Committee at BUMC. In 2011 the BUMC Supportive and Palliative Care Service became the first palliative care program in Texas and one of the first 10 in the country to become Joint Commission certified. He continues to maintain a component of his general Internal Medicine practice. Dr. Casanova lectures on issues related to clinical ethics and palliative medicine\, and has also lobbied the Texas state legislature on similar topics\, on behalf of the field of medicine and patients.  Additionally\, Dr. Casanova enjoys involvement with organized medicine\, to include being the 2020 president of the Dallas County Medical Society\, as well as serving on multiple councils and committees of the Texas Medical Association. Most recently\, during the COVID-19 pandemic\, Dr. Casanova had served on a variety of advisory committees\, including at the Dallas County level\, up to the State level\, serving on the TMA COVID-19 Taskforce. \n  \nShannon Huggins is currently Senior Vice President\, Contract Strategy and Population Health for Methodist Health System. She began with Methodist in 2002 and has responsibilities for non-governmental payor contracting and relations on behalf of Methodist facilities\, joint venture organizations\, transplantation services\, Accountable Care Organization / CIN and physician groups.  Additionally she has operational responsibilities for the population health services.   She also oversees the bundled payment projects within Methodist Health System.  Shannon has designed and implemented contracting and pricing strategies for Methodist.  MPCACO has successfully achieved for Medicare over $100 million in savings for the 8 years in participating in this program – an achievement only 14 other ACOs across the nation also have.  The ACO also performed in the top quartile of ACOs who achieved savings in quality metrics. \nShannon has over 29 years of experience in contracting\, payor relations\, population health\, financial analysis and decision support.  Prior to Methodist\, Shannon served in several roles at Baylor All Saints (formerly All Saints Health System) in Ft. Worth and various roles in a profit hospital organization. She has served on various civic boards and is currently President of the Alumni Association for her alma mater the University of the Ozarks.  Civically\, she was selected to be in Leadership Dallas class of 2014.  Also\, Shannon currently serves on several Board of Directors as a representative for Methodist Health System.  She earned her BS in Marketing/Finance from University of the Ozarks and her MS in HealthCare Administration from Texas Woman’s University. \n  \nJerri A. Locke currently serves as the director of Healthy Aging at Methodist Health System in Dallas\, a position she has held for more than 20 years. Her career includes teaching elementary school\, sales and marketing at AT&T\, working with individuals with disabilities\, all which provided the foundation for her current position with Methodist. \nDuring her tenure at Methodist Health System\, she has used the opportunity to improve the health and welfare of the older adults in the community by offering a wide variety of programs. The goal of all programs is to keep the older adults engaged\, educated\, and connecting with others. \nRather than view the pandemic as a barrier\, the Methodist Generations members have had access to 30 -40 different programs each month all via Zoom. Classes have ranged from drawing to organizing to health and education presentations. \nShe recently presented at the National Council on Aging on “Isolation is Killing our Older Adults” and “Staying Relevant in a Changing Aging World”.  \nJerri is continually looking for ways to increase the number of participants by finding unique topics and services of interest to the members. Within the next five years\, she hopes to find new partners to enhance the mission of the healthcare system\, embracing the goals of the ACA\, and recognizing the challenges of a quickly growing aging society as the Baby Boomers age. \n  \nNiki D. Jon was Director of Pharmacy Services for Methodist Dallas Medical Center from in 2008-2016\, and then served as Chief Operating Officer from 2016-2018. Previously he spent 23 years at Parkland Memorial Hospital. \nJon graduated with a B.S. in Pharmacy from Auburn University. Jon completed a Specialized Pharmacy Residency in Nutrition Support at Rhode Island Hospital. Jon has also completed a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Walden University. \nIn his pharmacy career\, Jon has worked in almost every hospital pharmacy role from pharmacy technician to director. He has managed pharmacy services in inpatient\, emergency department\, jail health services\, home health\, ambulatory clinic\, and pharmacy informatics settings. In his hospital operations role\, Jon managed oncology and GI services lines\, radiology\, pharmacy\, food service\, environmental service\, physical plant\, and construction. \nJon is also Clinical Assistant Professor for University of Texas College of Pharmacy and Clinical Associate Professor for Texas Tech University Health Science Center. Jon is a Fellow of the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacy and a Board Certified Nutrition Support Pharmacist. \nJon has published and presented on numerous clinical and management topics. \n  \nKevin Barnes joined STA as Controller in July of 2014 and was promoted to Director of Finance in January of 2016. He is responsible for the management oversight of the finance department including budgeting\, payroll\, and financial reporting. \nPrior to joining STA\, Kevin was the Director of Finance and Information Systems at Indiana Organ Procurement Organization (IOPO) from the 2006 to 2014. As the highest-ranking financial leader in the organization\, he helped lead revenue growth by more than 50 percent from 2006 to 2012. Net assets more than doubled in his tenure. Kevin led the negotiation and discounting of clinical bills which saved the organization more than $3\,000\,000 per year. \nKevin has more than 20 years of financial leadership experience in the organ procurement industry and is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). He has also served on the board examination committee of ACHE. \nKevin earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Perdue University\, a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Indiana University\, and has a Master’s in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas. \n  \nNate Mickish is the vice president of strategic sourcing at Texas Health and the president at OnHand\, a supply chain solutions company. Nate leads the contracting\, category management and procurement teams supporting Texas Health’s operations. He also oversees the growth and performance of OnHand\, a joint venture between Texas Health and Premier\, Inc. (PINC). Her most recent experience as Chief Human Resources Officer for Tenet Healthcare Corporation’s Texas region saw her leading the charge for comprehensive talent management in a heavily data-driven culture while fostering cross-functional working relationships with executive counterparts across divisions. \nPrior to her time at Tenet\, Felicia spent 19 years with Presbyterian Hospital Dallas and Texas Health Resources. Her tenure with PHD included roles with increasing responsibility and seniority\, having progressed from a career center coordinator to manager roles\, senior HR generalist and director of HR. \nFelicia received a Master of Business Administration from LeTourneau University. She also has dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Health Information Management and Health Professions from Texas State University. She is also an active community member\, involved in multiple business organizations and the recipient of numerous professional accolades. \nBenton Sprayberry is the Vice President of Operations – South Region for Steward Health Care\, and has served in other roles for Steward Health Care since joining the organization in November 2018. She’s had responsibility for a variety of services\, projects\, and initiatives across the entire system during her tenure. Most notably\, robotic service lines\, wound care centers\, hospital-based service providers\, as well as hospital closures\, divestitures and acquisitions. He spent five years as the Entity Human Resources Officer supporting strategic initiatives at Texas Health Cleburne\, Texas Health Allen\, and Texas Health Plano. While serving in this role he focused on achieving top-decile performance in employee engagement and retention. In his current role\, Trey is responsible for designing and implementing new Shared Services functions within Human Resources. \nDuring his time at Texas Health\, he has played an integral role in developing new processes across the system to support HR operations\, including automating job descriptions reviews for employees and leaders to comply with regulatory standards and creating new procedures to decrease workers compensation cost by bringing employees back to work in modified duty assignments. His knowledge and experience in HR operations supports his passion for designing new processes that will support the workforce. \nTrey has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University and a Master of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University. He is a certified professional in human resources. \nTrey resides in Bedford\, TX\, with his wife\, Caity. In his free time\, Trey enjoys woodworking\, building furniture\, and scuba diving. He also sits on the board for the Assistance Center of Collin County. \n  \nBrent D. Magers has more than 40 years of experience in the health care industry. In his present role since 2007\, he has been responsible for all aspects of Texas Tech Physicians. Prior to this\, he served as the CEO and in other administrative roles at three hospitals. \nHe is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Certified Medical Practice Executive of Medical Group Management Association. In 2012\, he earned the FHMFA designation from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HMFA). Brent was also awarded an additional specialty certification from HFMA in accounting and finance. \nBrent holds two master’s degrees – one from Trinity University in health care administration and one from the Texas Tech University where his thesis concentrated on health care marketing. He is an adjunct professor in the health organization management program of Texas Tech University Rawls College of Business. \nHe received undergraduate degrees from Abilene Christian University in communications and general business and Western Governors University in accounting. \n  \nDr. Patricia Rodriguez is a board-certified pediatrician who graduated medical school from The University of Texas Medical School at Houston\, where she also completed both her internship and residency. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Texas A&M University and is a proud Aggie. Before joining NTACHC\, Dr. Rodriguez served as Vice President and Chief Health Equity & Inclusion Officer for Children’s Health in Dallas\, where she spearheaded system-wide strategies and initiatives in pediatric health equity and inclusive care delivery practices. Centers included site-specific combinations of ambulatory surgical services\, outpatient diagnostic imaging\, emergency care and/or urgent care\, rehabilitation/therapy services including cardiac rehabilitation\, outpatient behavioral care services\, chronic disease management\, health behavior education and well-being services. \nBecky served as administrator of Texas Health Neighborhood Care & Wellness Burleson\, oversaw Texas Health Harris Methodist physician timeshares in Saginaw\, Keller and Burleson and managed the development of Texas Health’s second IHC\, Texas Health Neighborhood Care & Wellness Willow Park in Parker County\, which opened in January of 2015. \nBecky has been a part of the Texas Health family for 19 years. She first worked as an administrative assistant in the Medical Staff Affairs office of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano. While working at Texas Health Plano full-time\, Becky completed graduate work in business and healthcare administration. She transitioned into a healthcare administrative residency position at Texas Health Fort Worth where she continued her fellowship. \nIn 2006\, Becky transitioned to director of ambulatory clinics and physician services where she was responsible for the Assisted Reproductive Technology Service\, Executive Health program and physician referral development. \nIn 2007\, Becky began development of Texas Health Burleson. As administrator of Texas Health Burleson\, she and her team signed more than 2\,000 members to its fitness center\, achieved patient satisfaction scores for Likelihood to Recommend in the top 5 percent of the nation\, and secured Joint Commission accreditation for all new services\, College of American Pathologists Commission on Laboratory accreditation\, American College of Radiologists accreditation for MRI and CT\, and chest pain accreditation from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care. \nBecky earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a minor in biological science from The University of Texas at Austin. She also holds master’s degrees in health care administration and business administration from Texas Woman’s University. \nBecky is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives\, a past board member of the United Way of Tarrant County\, former chair of United Way of Tarrant County Young Leaders Society\, board member and vice chair for the Alzheimer’s Association of North Central Texas\, and a board member for the Fort Worth Leukemia and Lymphoma Society where she also serves as the chair for the Man Woman of the Year executive committee. He has helped design the reporting process\, created and implemented project specific order of operations that reduce gaps in communications and diminishes redundancy. PHHS is one of the largest safety net hospitals in the country with 882 inpatient beds\, multi-specialty outpatient clinics\, post-acute facilities\, an ambulatory surgery center\, and a health plan. Mr. Rashid is responsible for all financial aspects of workforce management solutions and optimizing operations\, a billion dollar salary budget function\, productivity and benchmarking analytics\, and ensuring operational efficiency. He has a varied healthcare skillset with experience in for-profit\, not-for-profit\, and governmental organizations and a proven track record in the following: financial and operations planning\, leading various cross-functional teams\, and implementation of data and clinical driven strategic initiatives to ensure high quality of care while optimizing operations. \nMr. Rashid earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from St. Louis University\, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Washington University in St. Louis\, Missouri. He is a certified fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and a member of ACHE North Texas Association. \n  \nMichael Sanborn\, MS\, FACHE\, FASHP currently serves as president of Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth. He is responsible for the leadership and management of the 574-bed acute care hospital with more than 2\,400 employees and 1\,100 medical staff members. Services include transplantation\, heart/vascular\, oncology\, trauma\, and one of the largest women’s hospitals in the area. \nBefore joining All Saints\, Sanborn served as president of Baylor Scott & White – Carrollton where he was responsible for the hospital\, three satellite medical offices and a freestanding diagnostic center. Prior to his position at Carrollton\, Sanborn served as the corporate vice president of cardiovascular services for the Baylor Scott & White system. Throughout his 32 years in health care\, Sanborn has taken on increasingly complex roles\, initially in pharmacy leadership and then in health care administration. \nMike holds a B.S. and M.S. in Pharmacy and Administration respectively from the University of Kansas and is a Fellow of both ACHE and ASHP.
