SUMMARY:Better Together - Diversity\, Equity & Inclusion Mixer
DESCRIPTION:  \nThe North Texas chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHENTX) works closely with its diverse partner groups to advance executive diversity. To recognize this essential collaboration\, ACHE North Texas’ Diversity\, Equity and Inclusion committee has coordinated this event with local chapters of healthcare organizations with one mission—we are better together. The National Association for Latino Healthcare Executives (NALHE)\, the National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE)\, Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS)\, North Texas Association for Healthcare Quality (NTAHQ)\, and Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) along with ACHENTX and it’s Asian Healthcare Leaders Community of North Texas (AHLC) and Women’s Healthcare Executives’ Network (WHEN)\, will co-host a reception for members of these organizations and others who are interested in learning more about the individual and collective work of these groups. \n  \nKeynote Presentation by: \n  \nRichard G. Greenhill\, DHA\, CPHQ\, HACP-CMS\, PMP\, FACHE is an internationally recognized healthcare quality leader and Director of the Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management Program in the School of Health Professions at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. His career spans more than 30 years beginning in clinical and anatomic laboratory medicine to private sector multi-sectoral senior leadership [defense/not-for-profit/for-profit/federal/academia]. He honorably retired from the U.S. Navy after a robust career serving around the globe in support of Navy and Military Medicine. \n  \nDr. Greenhill is American College of Healthcare Executives Faculty\, board certified in healthcare management and Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). He is a Content Expert for the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ)\, an International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua) Expert for patient safety and quality improvement\, and Deputy Editor of the International Journal for Quality in Healthcare (IJCOMS)\, Communications. Additionally\, he serves as an expert with the World Health Organization (WHO) Eastern Mediterrean Regional Office\, Cairo Egypt for Hospital Resilience and Disaster Preparedness. \n  \nHe has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles\, textbooks\, and publications to advance healthcare delivery both nationally and globally. He holds several industry and board certifications that highlight his commitment to professional excellence and life-long learning. His current research includes health equity implementation frameworks\, high-reliability culture for patient safety\, as well as machine learning and artificial intelligence integration into healthcare delivery operations. \nRegister Here\n  \nAHLCNTX: \nThe Asian Healthcare Leaders Community of NTX aims to increase representation of Asian-Americans in healthcare leadership in various healthcare settings and at all career stages.
