DESCRIPTION:  \nACHENTX members\, friends and families come out and join us as we make sandwiches for people in need. \nDate: Saturday\, July 15\nTime: 8:30-10:30am\nLocation: Feed the City Rockwall/On the Border\n747 I-30 Frontage Rd\nRockwall\, TX 75087 \nWho can attend? Anyone! This is a fun event atmosphere for all ages. \nWhat to wear? The color orange represents “Hunger Awareness\,” otherwise closed-toes shoes required. \nWhat to bring? We recommend each person attending bring enough supplies for 25-30 sandwiches \n\n1 loaf sliced bread (prefer wheat)\n1 package deli meat (turkey\, chicken\, ham) nothing from a deli counter\n1 packaged pre-sliced cheese\n1 family size bag potato chips\n1 bag tangerines\n1 box Ziploc sandwich bags\n\n  \nDonations are welcome! Whether or not you are able to attend\, if you would like to make a donation to Feed the City\, you may do so by clicking on Make a Donation button on the Eventbrite tickets page. \nRegister Here\nWHAT IS FEED THE CITY? \nThe first Feed The City happened in Dallas\, Texas on Saturday\, January 10\, 2015. It was created after TangoTab broke the Guinness World Record for the Most People Making Sandwiches Simultaneously. Many participants wanted to do something similar on a regular basis and months following the event… Feed The City was launched. \n  \nFeed The City is a monthly volunteer opportunity where individuals come together at a local venue to make lunches for people in need. The lunches consist of sandwiches\, chips\, and fruit. Feed The City events are open to all. \n  \nThere have been nearly 1\,000 Feed The City events that have welcomed over 75\,000 volunteers in 5 countries\, 11 states\, and 53 cities that have provided over 3 MILLION meals to people in need. The event is led and hosted by volunteers who are dedicated to the fight against hunger. Companies\, religious groups\, schools\, organizations have also hosted pop-up events in their communities. \n  \nRegister Here\n
